Craft cocktails & live music contribute to the speakeasy-inspired new bar on the Marietta Square
Built directly into the old McPhearson tire shop and antique filling station, 'The Third Door' brings the era of Prohibition into the new 20's decade.
A New Take on the Classics
The Third Door has taken existing cocktails and brought them back to life. Drinks that got lost over time such as the Sazerac - which originated in New Orleans - have been recreated with a new twist and decorate The Third Door menu.
Signature Cocktails.
In addition to their take on the classics, The Third Door partnered with a company out of Nashville, TN to create their own signature drinks, each more unique than the one before. To name a few of our favorites; the Inner Demons & the Daisy Buchanan.
Live Music
Having local talent at least three nights a week, live music wasn't an afterthought of The Third Door. Creating space for a full band both in their inside and outside spaces, Ted & Lara wanted to make sure they could offer live music no matter the weather. While only local musicians have been playing since their opening, traveling talent is always welcome!
Speakeasy-Inspired
Although you can see patrons enjoying their cocktails from the street, you must enter the bar through "The Third Door" which is located around back. This is a small way for guests to experience what was so common back in the 1920s. The "third" door opens to the bar-lounge area where guests can fully immerse themselves in the speakeasy experience. In addition to the lounge, guests can enjoy cocktails in the former garage which they call the Jalopy Gallery or the outdoor space which they call the Pump Yard.
