Are you looking for a way to celebrate America's birthday this year with a bang? Don't worry, we've got you covered - from sporting events to parades, we made a list of Georgia's hottest Fourth of July celebration spots. Whether you want to make a float to participate in a parade or want to eat yummy food and watch fireworks, Georgia has it ALL. Fireworks, live music, and good eats - what more could you need to celebrate this patriotic day?

Marietta Square's Fourth in the Park

When: July 4 @ 10 AM - 11 PM

Where: Marietta Square

This 4th of July celebration is packed with events all day keeping the whole family entertained. The day kicks off with the Let Freedom Ring Parade, but the fun doesn't stop there. There will be activities, live music, food, and ends with a firework finale at dark. 

50th Running of the AJC Peachtree Road Race

When: July 4 @ 6:25 AM

Where: Peachtree Road - starts in Buckhead near Lenox Square Mall and end in Piedmont Park 

The worlds largest 10k is expecting over 60,000 participants and 150,000 spectators this year. Following the race, experience the city's fireworks and events. Be there to see who will get first place. The winner earns their name on the Peachtree Cup and $8,000!

Red, White, and Brew

When: July 4, @ 7 - 10 PM

Where: Georgia Aquarium 

For $65 your ticket includes admission to the aquarium, parking, unlimited beer & cider samples, BBQ dinner provided by Wolfgang Puck, live music, and views from the Oceans Ballroom. At the end of the evening, all guests are invited to the rooftop to get the best view of Centennial Olympic Park's fireworks. 

Braves vs Phillies @ Suntrust Park

When: July 4 @ 7:20 PM

Where: Suntrust Park Stadium - 755 Battery Ave SE

There isn't a more traditional way to celebrate the 4th than a baseball game. The Braves face the Phillies kicking off at 7:20. Get to the stadium early for special pre-game ceremony and activities. After the game is when the real fun starts with the firework display over Suntrust Park. 

Centennial Olympic Park Fireworks

When: July 4 @ 7 PM - 11 PM

Where: Centennial Olympic Park - 265 Park Ave

The Georgia World Congress Center Authority and The Coca-Cola Company partnered to host it's annual Fourth of July celebration, rumored to be one of the biggest firework shows in the Southeast. This event features food trucks, live music, and fireworks, of course, starting @ 9:45. 

Independence Day celebration at Cauble Park on Lake Acworth

When: July 4 @ 4 PM

Where: Cauble Park @ Lake Acworth - 4425 Beach Street

This celebration starts with live music at 5:30 with the Paul Hand Band. There will be food and drinks from vendors. The concert is free to the public, however, Acworth residents can reserve a table for 6 + a parking pass for only $50. Fireworks begin around 9:30.

SpringsFest on the 4th

When: July 4 @ 4 PM - 10 PM

Where: Ball Park @ Powder Springs City Center - 3899 Brownsville Rd

Presented by Powder Springs Business Group, this event is packed full of fun for everyone. There will be live music, food trucks, bouncy houses, games, and fireworks!

20th Annual Roswell Fireworks Extravaganza

When: July 4 @ 5:30 PM

Where: Roswell High School

You won't want to miss Roswell's largest community celebration! Held on Roswell High School front lawn, this tradition is a great family event filled with live music, food trucks, Kids Zone with inflatables, Ninja tower, face painting, etc. For the Kids Zone, you can purchase tickets at the ticket booth; $1 for a ticket or $20 wristband for unlimited access. Fireworks show begins at dark. 

 

51st Annual Fantastic Fourth Celebration

When: July 1 - July 7 @ 10:30 AM - 8 PM

Where: Stone Mountain Park - Robert E Lee Boulevard at Memorial Hall Circle 

This 7-night celebration has been voted "Best Place to see Fireworks in Atlanta" by AJC readers. Featuring live entertainment & performances by the Zuzu African Acrobats. Starting at 9:30, experience the Lasershow and fireworks finale. Don't worry, all 7 nights have the exact same fireworks finale so you won't miss out!

Pied Piper Parade

When: July 4 

Where: Parade line up @ First Baptist Church of Decatur - 308 Clairemont Ave

The parade begins at 6 PM and the Concert on the Square starts at 7 PM in the Community Bandstand. There will be a firework show starting around 9 PM. This event is for everyone!
